While it's good to aim to get there peacefully, don't convince yourself that we will. He is already killing innocent people, directing the FBI to designate political enemies as terrorists (which allows extra judicial killings), and running concentration camps. He won't simply allow it to happen.

I've come to accept it, myself. Doesn't feel great, but it won't change, so I just choose to adapt and do the best I can alone. I've learned all things will pass until I'm finally gone, so it's more a matter of directing my thoughts as needed to keep moving and not let my thoughts become a problem.

This is the mindset I try to always have. Being there for people when they need someone is incredibly powerful, especially when you know the pain and can help them understand it. And much of the pain in the world can become beautiful when we understand it, appreciate it, and find strength in it.

They did say 'if you see its happening', which to me says they're asking for the bystanders to call more than the people being kidnapped.

While this isn't what I want either, it's important to remember that we are also responsible for what he does. Until we do what is necessary to remove him, we are allowing it to continue. Politicians will not do it any time soon, only the people, and the people are not choosing to do it either.

I'm glad someone was there who understood. Even if it's a stranger, someone who can help you let it all out when you need to is such a wonderful thing in those moments.
There is a strong chance many of us may have to face the same, in the future. Hopefully we all learn to fight for each other.

The problem with this request is that Windows has become, for Microsoft, a tool for forcing you to use whatever products they're using to harvest your data to sell off and generate revenue off of you. Back before they had a scheme for selling your data, that might have been possible.

I'm fine with people calling for him to be impeached, but I'd like people to realize that they're going to need to ramp up pressure a LOT harder to have any chance of making that happen. And for people to realize he is almost guaranteed to start a civil war to stay in power. People are not ready.

Wouldn't be surprised. Especially after the whole "it's not like they're 5 years old, they're just the 'barely legal' (because they just make up whatever they want) 15 year old type" thing. Could easily see that being to prep people for saying that it's time for them to start breeding.

Oh, I imagine this will be used as an excuse to *make* you have to buy a new one more often, by making sure the devices will die sooner. Cheaper parts, software tricks, 'compatibility' issues. Nothing they love more than not giving you a choice.

Unfortunately we're still nowhere near the worst of what's coming. He's not going to leave willingly, he's already killing people, and they will help him cling to power.

From the angry face, I think it may be good to point out that the article is from the onion... Granted, we do live in insane times and never know when something like that might happen for real, but the onion is always silly, never a serious goose.

Their official rationale will be whatever mumbo jumbo they decide to shove down the court's throat to try to destroy the legal process. Their real rationale is that they want to cause as much harm as they can possibly get away with. It is intentional harm, as a scare tactic.

My favorite was a video in LA where one of them was telling a guy that only English should be spoken in America, and he was like, "oh, okay, so how do you say Los Angeles in English?"
