I love how ABC suspends Terry Moran and keeps bringing this guy on and doesn’t challenge the constitutionality of anything he says. Just what the actual F??!!?

I'll note that the right made the same bet on abortion bans: that as long as they implied victims are sluts and bimbos, they could weather the blowback.

But that didn't happen, and I think part of the reason is that the pro-choice movement didn't get defensive or insist on perfect victims.

This reminds me a lot of the abortion issue. As long as "abortion bans" were an abstract issue, it was easy for people to be "pro-life" — because they didn't think of the victims as real people in this hypothetical.

Once actual women were denied abortions, though, the narrative shifted.
