I have not seen the rationale for some of those books being listed.
I HAVE seen why Huckleberry Finn is there & it's my understanding that something similar goes for MBird. I'm not sure what groups oppose those books.
I can't remember anything objectionable about 451 & I'm not familiar w/Giver.

I read the 1st 3 before I got to high school.
But those are straw men intended to distract from garbage like Gender Queer, Flamer & This Book Is Gay.
