Good news in the official transport statistics:
- Rail journeys increased by 12% on the previous year
- Bus journeys (in England outside London) increased by 10%
But the large majority of travel is still done by car. More action is needed to make public transport attractive!

Being a good MP for your constituency is important, but what about the wider West of England? Transport isn’t isolated—it’s interconnected. New bus routes may win votes, but what are you, @darrenpjones.bsky.social, doing about the broader crisis in our bus system? It's only getting worse.
