19 states voted for Harris in 2024. From 1816-1818, there was a 19 star flag, that was never officially adopted. Ironically (I think), it most notably flew on the USS Constitution. Perhaps it’s time to readopt that flag.

While I did not always agree with the Chief Justice, at one time, I believed him to be an honorable man—no more! I hope he is losing sleep knowing that history will define him as the Chief Justice under whose watch the United States’ Judicial System was destroyed.

There is conflict in the Middle East, and yet the price of oil is dropping. It defies economics and common sense. What aren’t the American People being told by their ‘leaders’?

With all the people the government is laying off, I would think unemployment would be going up. Makes me wonder how many are just of administrative leave, and getting paid to not do their jobs?

The wealthy trying to buy elections is a long standing tradition (albeit not a very honorable one). But when did it shift from being something done discreetly, even secretly, to being something you did openly, and bragged about?

If you are a citizen in a place with a special election next week—VOTE! It’s not just your right, it’s your responsibility! Not voting is NOT a choice. Our system of government is dependent upon your making a choice, even if not a ‘perfect’ choice. You have great power. Don’t waste it.

Elected officials in the House and Senate would not be having to deal with Signals fiasco blowback if they had done their jobs in the first place and blocked the appointments of inept, incompetent, and unqualified individuals.

Sitting in a rum bar in Jamaica today. A Jamaican could not understand how the USA could be so f)&@ed up. So they did they did their research. After speaking with them, I think they may understand how our government is meant to work better than many of my countrymen !

Republicans can’t wait to cut social programs that really help those that need it, but are first in line to give big business (like the auto industry) a break.

The US has had Presidents that have:
- been smart, others not.
-been honest, others less so.
-had integrity, others not so much.
But I believe this is the first time the US has had a President that is just plain evil!

The unofficial State of the Union address is March 4. (Unofficial because newly inaugurated presidents don’t give a SOTU address). Wonder who will give it—Musk or Trump? Will democrats boycott? Will it make any sense? So many questions.
