Weekly update: I visted my aunty and mam to distribute Christmas gifts, received a lovely Pikmin gift from Shauni and Grant and enjoyed a fancy breakfast to celebrate Andrew passing his apprenticeship with a distinction grade. Next week we're on annual leave together, which I am looking forward to!

Weekly Update: Nothing too exciting happened in the week, but I did manage to post my Christmas parcels to Japan which is an errand done. Watched タンポポ on Friday, went to town on Saturday trying to find a record for my dad (with no avail) but picked up a 坂本 太郎 noodle stopper as a little treat 💛🍜

Weekly Update: Nothing too exciting happened in the week, but I did manage to post my Christmas parcels to Japan which is an errand done. Watched タンポポ on Friday, went to town on Saturday trying to find a record for my dad (with no avail) but picked up a 坂本 太郎 noodle stopper as a little treat 💛🍜
Weekly update: First full week back at work, cold snap mid-week gave us the first snow of the season. I’ve dealing with some pain which landed me in a&e for 9 hours today. Nothing much to report apart from I am still in pain, but it’s not an emergency LOL

Discovered Todd Terje today after listening to some Lindstrøm. Really impressed with “It’s Album Time” (2014) after my first listen. I have a feeling this is going onto my rotation for the foreseeable. Lovely music to work to, and definitely dance to.

Weekly update: Mam has been discharged from hospital, celebrated 112 days sober, took part in the Pikmin Bloom 4th anniversary event, saw ABC live at the city hall and listened to my new MGS2 record from Mondo. All whilst battling a cold/upper respiratory tract infection!

In hospital, slowly recovering. It’s been good seeing her and helping out. We saw Joey Valance and Brae on Thursday and I had a solo trip to the cinema to see I, Swear. We had a date night on Friday and I had the most delicious たこ焼き！Back to work full time from next week.

Weekly update: My mam was seriously ill and has been in hospital, she is recovering but still taking each day as it comes. Through the week we went to the Garth Marenghi show and I was lucky enough to go to London to see Metal Gear in Concert with my friends which lifted my spirits.

Weekly update: Recovering from surgery, managed a few solo jaunts out, my neighbours cat was very happy to see me after being away, made a vegetable stew and saw the Chainsaw Man film!

Weekly update: Been in hospital most of the week, I had my gallbladder removed as it caused another bout of pancreatitis on Sunday. Managed to see my relatives from Scotland as they were visiting, despite being fresh out of surgery. Played a little of Pokémon ZA but I’m pretty tired at the moment.

Weekly update: Been in hospital most of the week, I had my gallbladder removed as it caused another bout of pancreatitis on Sunday. Managed to see my relatives from Scotland as they were visiting, despite being fresh out of surgery. Played a little of Pokémon ZA but I’m pretty tired at the moment.
Weekly update: It’s felt like the longest week on the planet, felt very low, unsure if it’s period/SAD/work/ combination but I’m just trying to push through it. Celebrated my sisters 23rd birthday, saw the harvest moon and some lovely apples ripe for the picking. Shame I am too short 😂

Weekly update: 12 day stint at work has ended, enjoyed going for walks after work before Storm Amy arrived, wine and records on Friday night, got my winter vaccinations, finally recorded a (mammoth) podcast episode, had my first PSL of the year with Comb and began re-watching The Witcher 🙂

RIP to the incredible Dr Jane Goodall
Doing okay, recovered from pancreatitis but life has changed re: diet/medications/now alcohol-free. We’re navigating my partner being made redundant so I am picking up paid OT this week to get a bit extra behind us. Out walking a lot more these days which is nice. How are you doing my friend? 🙂

Doing okay, recovered from pancreatitis but life has changed re: diet/medications/now alcohol-free. We’re navigating my partner being made redundant so I am picking up paid OT this week to get a bit extra behind us. Out walking a lot more these days which is nice. How are you doing my friend? 🙂
Weekly update: Landlord finally got the wardrobes fixed, work was busy but I attended some really insightful meetings, did some overtime this weekend so it’ll be 12 days on the trot for me. Andrew and I went out for a lovely walk this evening and enjoyed the sunny weather.

Weekly update: It’s been a busy week, seen my in-laws, visited the zoo, went to our favourite Italian restaurant, all for Andrew’s birthday! We spent the remainder of the week relaxing, stayed inside on Saturday due to the rain. Shame we’re to work next week.
