I see a lot of people say that the government shouldn't get a paycheck while it's shut down.
I think it'd be more effective if every single American got a return on their taxes/didn't pay taxes for every day it's shut down.
Or, ya know, both. We could do both.

The more conversations I have with people about politics, the more I realize I don't really relate to either liberals or conservatives. Conversations with both leave me exhausted and frustrated.
People without loyalty to either/any party though? I can hang with those people.

The fact that so many rural Americans don't realize how they are the ones that will suffer the most from almost every single decision this regime makes continues to completely baffle me.
Folks in rural areas: The Big Beautiful Bill will close your local hospitals after the Medicaid cuts take effect. Tell your senators your community needs them to stay open!
