We finally climbed out of the 2008-2009 nightmare, bought a house and own our cars. I am terrified that my husband's 2011 KIA Sportage with 250,000 is going to die any day now. He works for a marketing company and drives 1,000 miles per month. I tried to get him to buy one before tariffs, but no! 😰

Part two...In 2024, we had the highest number of people moving here from other states, and the largest income growth in the US. Our median income might be lower, but so is our cost of living. I keep hoping that enough people will move here to get these idiot republicans out of office.

South Carolina is not in the top ten poorest states. Our Economy is 25th in the nation. I am a Democrat and live in Upstate, SC. I live 2 miles from the largest BMW plant in the World! They are in the process of building a plant to produce batteries for electric cars. Our biggest industry? Tourism!
