I know this won't be a popular post, but the problem isn't just the sociopathic republicans, it's not even the completely ineffective Democrats--it's the system that has allowed the rich to buy both of them. We need ranked choice, government funded elections and more parties.

Disinformation research requires evidence, ethics approval, peer-review, & editorial consideration. It is not infallible, but deserves more support than unvetted claims from actors who have conflicts of interest and who try to discredit our research via Tweet.

I've been reading a lot of books and other materials which say that things have been much worse before in the United States, but never once in our history have we had a person announced that he was going to be a dictator and then get power in all three branches of government.

@petebuttigiegsot.bsky.social with Trump now controlling both houses of congress, the executive branch, and 6-3 majority in SCOTUS, how do we fight back? How do we make sure he doesn't end democracy in the next two years? How do we make sure that we continue to even have elections?
