The reality is most people don’t have the data literacy to understand these polls are showing the % of people who took the poll and not the % of Americans.

You have to think about the demographic of people who are actually taking polls through spam texts/calls/emails/etc. Spoiler - it’s largely going to be undereducated and/or older people.
