Not long after I graduated I started working as a bid writer in a civil engineering company and I became OBSESSED with bridges. I'd drive to see bridges, stop under the them to inspect them etc. I have an English degree so it wasn't a shock when I was diagnosed with autism!

I'm so glad someone else feels this way. I have to rewind audiobooks constantly as I just stop hearing them sometimes, and why would I want to listen to something for eight hours when I could read it in three??
