I think this is a perfect description for our household’s activities over the last weekend of snow, rain, gales, mizzle, drizzle, mist, fog and all together driech weather.
Word of the day is ‘hibernacle’ (18th century): a hibernating animal’s winter retreat.

I believe it works on a human level too.
