My new 'crumb-catcher' neck warmer with two buttons from the fabulous stash of polyclay buttons that @mjcrochet.bsky.social made for me. #crochet pattern is corner to corner and the yarn is 24/7 cotton.
Dark teal and olive green (weird combo, yeah, but I think it works here!) crochet neck scarf laid out on a periwinkle quilted spread. The scarf is folded over itself so it forms a point that forms over low sternum. Two colorful polyclay spiral buttons hold the scarf in this folded position. I call it a crumb catcher, haha on me. The crochet pattern is "corner to corner" and the yarn is cotton 24/7 and is maybe dm weight.

A bright orange sort-of round, crocheted pin cushion that has two pins (so far) in it on the top. It has scant comb-over style yarn strands for hair, ears that stick out (especially the one on the LEFT) beady eyes under blonde eyebrows, a blobby nose and pink protruding lips/orifice with two rows of "teeth" There is also a long, red tie dangling down. I confess to yelling fond profanities and obscenities at this as I pass by it.

Numerous volunteer catnip plants in my Irish Moss patio; time to dry catnip! Some of the leaves are nearly as big as my hand. Good project for the day before #Caturday
Stone and Irish moss patio with a round plastic screen dehydrator layer. The dehydrator grid is covered with catnip leaves, a few of them are nearly as large as my hand! A stem of catnip off to the side. Note: you can't see them in the photo but I had to battle little ants when snipping leaves from stems, the plants are just beginning to bloom and the ants are v interested in that.

Watercolor sketch I made in 2019 of Maria Butina, the darling lobbiest of the NRA and best buddies with many GOP congress of that era. Depicted as a matryoshka (Russian nesting doll) Her auburn hair is tucked into her hood and her expression is bleak. Her red-fingernailed hands grip a black handgun delicately. She was an effective and divisive NRA lobbying tool in the first iteration of the Trump regime.
