It’s not the best, but I was done with Duolingo for a number of reasons.

I’ve used Mango, which is free through my library, but I got much more out of a semester of Japanese. For kanji, I used WaniKani. The website Tofugo has lots of additional resources.

Oof! One would hope schools with cell phone bans would make exceptions for people with medical needs.

Oh, I didn’t know that! That also sounds like a really useful benefit. I’m so glad they have that opportunity.

People in Oregon who are eligible for Medicaid might be given a cell phone and a phone plan as part of their coverage. There’s so much done online now, including telehealth, that it’s really essential for people.
