Not sure if I can recommend this or not. A first contact story told by the sole survivor of a Church's mission to another planet. Often sterile in descriptions and washed of anything explicit. I could see this featured in a religious bookstore. #booksky 💙📚🪐

Book 45: By Night in Chile by Roberto Bolano is an exquisite snapshot of a life before death. Rating 4.75/5 highly recommend for fans of no chapters and murdering falcons. #booksky 💙📚🖋️

Swag from the Aspen Literary Festival and a book haul from Explore Books 📚 in Aspen. Check them out if you are ever driving through. An excellent bookshop! 💙📚🖋️ #booksky

I just finished katabasis. Let me tell you, I fell asleep 90 pages from the end. A 3.0 rating is the most generous one I've given in a while. I hate when authors over explain and at nearly 600 pages I feel like I read this book twice. Also the devil waves goodbye 😂😂😂 I'm serious. #booksky 💙📚💫

An epic historical fiction family saga of love, loss, and friendship. I feel wholly underqualified to rate this. Most polarizing for the length and lack of depth in the female main character, I likely won't read any other Chabon, but this was engrossing and enjoyable. #booksky 💙📚🖋️
Rating 4.75/5
