The only way I have managed to feel comfortable posting my creative works has been by doing it anonymously. Even then, once I’ve gained any significant following on those accounts, I began to feel self-conscious about every single thing I posted. It felt performative at that point.

One of the best pieces of advice I’ve gotten from a Prof was that oftentimes thought follows writing rather than writing following thought.

If you’re stuck, just write. Write absolutely anything. Don’t worry about grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc…

Just write.

I can’t even decide on essay titles for my uni classes so I can’t even imagine the pressure of choosing a title for a novel!!

Out of the books I’ve read this year, I would have to say “Piranesi” by Susanna Clarke.

As for an all-time favourite, I feel like I change my mind too frequently to give a definitive answer. However, “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak will likely always be in my top 5.
