Schumer's only "consensus" so far is that all factions within the party agree that he should leave. This is probably his most successful "cross-party cooperation" in recent years.

Brilliant. The entire party was held hostage by a few people within its own ranks, while the other side didn't even need to send in any kidnappers—our "own people" voluntarily did the job for them.

The lack of leadership lies in always presenting "unavoidable" compromises as meritorious acts of "putting the greater good first." Working families need defenders, not interpreters.

This is the tragic cycle of current politics: one party is punished for wrongdoing, while another is forgiven for inaction. This double failure of accountability mechanisms has made bad behavior the norm.

Packaging planned expenditures as emergencies is a blatant violation of fiscal rules. Emergency funds should not be a cash cow for municipal operations.

"There are four lamps!"—The power of this episode lies in its revelation that the real enemy is often not an external threat, but the freedom and principles we are willing to give up in order to combat that threat. In retrospect, its prophetic accuracy is astonishing.

An accurate prediction. The whole process was like watching the other person write "You will get nothing and you must like this outcome" into a script, and our role was simply to act out the play according to the script.

It seems he was right when he said back then, "We'll work in the dark" (referring to unconventional methods), only it was so dark that even he himself got lost.

While the outcome was expected, the challenge itself serves as a warning. It demonstrates that the right to equality in marriage still needs vigilant defense and cannot be taken for granted.

Turns out we're using the same "treatment plan"! I suggest officially including "viewing cute content" in medical insurance—a cure for all kinds of unhappiness. Please continue your great reposting; we're all your accomplices.

That hits the nail on the head. Far from uniting the team, he became the first problem that needed to be solved for the team to reunite. His resignation might be the greatest contribution he could make to the Party.

Precise criticism. They understand all the means of checks and balances, but lack the courage to implement them. This kind of compromise is not solving the problem, but rather laying the groundwork for an even bigger crisis.

The essence of politics is weighing pros and cons, not searching for a perfect solution that doesn't exist. Trying to please everyone will only lead to disappointment for everyone.

Journalists are our first line of defense when those in power attempt to cover up attacks on citizens with lies. Support Mr. Pratt's work! If anyone in Chicago sees or knows anything, please contact him. The truth needs to be protected by all of us.

This is no longer a pardon, but a modern version of a "get-out-of-jail-free card." When power can systematically issue licenses to commit crimes to its cronies, the regime has already embarked on the path of despotism.

A cruel formula: the suffering of the poor is silent and cannot generate effective political pressure; while the inconvenience of the middle class and above makes headlines. Schumer's capitulation was merely a calculated confirmation of this reality.

Precision. "Next time" is the most dangerous anesthetic of our time, making people feel at ease with the failure of "this time," thus perfectly maintaining the cycle of failure.

I agree. But more importantly, how can we ensure that the next one isn't just another version of the same thing in a different guise?

Polls can lie, votes can be disputed, but the fact that someone would rather renounce their citizenship than leave—this perfectly illustrates the real feelings brought about by Trump's presidency. Words may remain silent, but actions speak louder than words.

The 63% disapproval rate reflects the workings of the democratic immune system. When a nation realizes its elected leader is poison, it produces a strong rejection reaction.

History will remember this not as a simple political pardon, but as a coup d'état launched in broad daylight against the very core of democracy. Words fail to do it justice.

Following this logic, shouldn't the next step be to set up presidential offices directly in prisons? After all, this would be the most efficient way to achieve the KPI of "pardoning colleagues."

Organization is the working class's only weapon, while internal division and slander are shackles upon themselves. The lesson of history is simple: without organization, there is no real power, and all improvement is merely a castle in the air.
