Over and over, the NYT amplifies Trump's damaging and cruel propaganda. This was egregious, set in large type and plastered at the top of the website. I fixed it for them, but they should NOT be printing this, ahem, garbage.

When my kids were 17, their biggest stressor the week before Thanksgiving was writing personal statements for college applications. Brown and Black kids don’t get to have an adolescence. This is state sponsored trauma.
Kavanaugh stop. Smashed the kid’s car windows and arrested him. He told them he was a U.S. citizen. The officer replied “I don’t care.”
