I am beyond disgusted at the Labour party trying to adopt policies designed to appeal to Reform leaning voters. You can never succeed in placating hard right English nationalism because it holds grievances against imaginary enemies. All you do is pollute the entirety of politics for everyone.

I fought all these battles against homophobia back in the 80s, now the likes of Musk & Zuckerberg are trying to make bigotry acceptable again. We need the same spirit of resistance now. You don't get equality by asking for it nicely.

If I had Musk's money, I'd be exploring the world, experiencing different cultures, reading my way through my huge library of books. I'd be tackling child poverty & homelessness. I wouldn't be sitting on social media posting racist conspiracy theories & whining about people insulting me.
