OK, two days in a row of painting. Maybe I am turning a corner... this one is 6x8", and I'll probably adjust a couple more things.. but I feel good just getting back to trying.

I am having a hard time summoning the oomph to paint amid the distractions of the country going to hell in a handbasket. But I pushed through it today. It's a wishful painting.... wishing myself into summer and simplicity

I am having a hard time trying to balance my desire to stay informed and make my voice heard, with my need to be able to sleep at night, to find joy, to go about ordinary life. I will start phone calls again on Wednesday.

All week I have been routesetting. I definitely don't feel 30 anymore. I ache all over. But it has been so very much fun. I got to create experiences that climbers will play on for the next month or so. It's a great challenge to compose and imagine and build them. And fun to hang with the cool kids
