It happened on Zepp Rd (private gun club on that road), and police suspect hunters (possibly poachers, although a lot of folks hunt legally out here). She got shot in the head, but they’re now saying she was grazed. Regardless - sheesh. Another shooting accident nearby 3 days prior 😕

*I mentioned yesterday that we have 3 gun ranges nearby - a woman was accidentally shot yesterday. No word on her condition, but life flight was initially called and then cancelled. Hoping that means it wasn’t too serious 🙏

Kinda soothing after you get used to it. At least it muffles, and is preferable, to the noise from the gun clubs 😕

It’s a beautiful spot, but there’s actually a white plastic garbage (grocery?) bag that has been stuck on a branch in the water for well over a year 😕. It’s a white dot. We had horrible flooding and that bridge was out for a couple years. There was debris (furniture, etc) everywhere.

Will be!! Had my favorite phlebotomist for bloodwork this morning. He is SO good!! Once before surgery it took nurses 6 tries 🥴. Stopped on one of my favorite stone bridges on the way home. Brisk today. Enjoy the start of your weekend 😁

Oops!! Thought I responded yesterday!!
It was cozy, and today will 🤞 be relaxing. Medical appointments this week. I feel guilty that as lovely as all the staff is (and I know everything they do is to help me), I still hate going 🥴.

Awww 🥰. Looks a little like Hossie Cartwright, one of my former kitties. Yes, he was huge - around 18 pounds or so - gentle giant. Our other cats were in the 9-11 lb. range. He dwarfed them. One curly leaf ☺️

Hope so!! Yesterday ended up interesting with a new medication being delivered to my oncologist. Started at 5pm yesterday. So far so good 🤞 - I am always fearful of new side effects - quite wimpy.

Hope so!! Yesterday ended up interesting with a new medication being delivered to my oncologist. Started at 5pm yesterday. So far so good 🤞 - I am always fearful of new side effects - quite wimpy.

Yikes 😬!! We had frost on the windshield and some fierce winds, but no snow in the forecast. Likely to lose power. Luckily, all chores and errands completed early, and the afternoon will be dedicated to tea, a nap, and a book 😁
