While I’m making dinner tonight, and since it was recently Veteran’s Day, I wanted to share a bit about my own career transition leaving the military and moving to the private sector. That transition is hard for so many of us.

From Lambertville to Mount Olive to Somerville, one thing was crystal clear today: people are ready to roll up their sleeves and fight for a better future. These are communities that know the work it takes to win hard races and flip seats. We did it in 2018, and we're going to do it again next year.

We are living through a cost of living crisis right now in this country, and we deserve leaders who understand the challenges we are all facing and will fight with the urgency this moment deserves.

Touring the Carpenters Training Facility yesterday reminded me of my squadron days—the same discipline, teamwork, and pride. These apprentices and instructors make our workforce strong. I’ll always stand with unions and fight for safe, good-paying NJ jobs.
