i mostly made this because the friction of choice uses up brain capacity, which means it's way harder to get stuck doomscrolling for longer than a few minutes

there's nice stuff on twitter sometimes, so i still want to see that, but i don't want to spend hours just scrolling

you have blocking @imports that wait for requests, and the requests come from loading background images (which you can set conditionally)

there's more advanced methods for binary data comms too, but in this case i'd simply do a recursive @import combined with background images that get loaded

this is not about requiring javascript - i understand many apps either require it or just don't care about nojs users - but pretty much every app that does that lets me just enable javascript and refresh, notion does not
