I just got new glasses, only 2 or 3 years later than I should have. Turns out despite all the shitty things going on, there’s beauty to enjoy. This warbler outside sort of made the day better.

Getting a little late in the mountain season but damn the weather has been nice hereabouts the past few days. North Georgia/ Western NC.

I’m thinking about David Lynch’s contributions to the world. More than most, he succeeded in helping to normalize weird. It may be argued that once weird is normalized, it ain’t weird anymore, but that just tees up the next push. And God help us all if that process ever stops. Thank you, Mr. Lynch.
