While listening to a legal podcast today, I realized that during the Biden administration, I rarely if ever found myself swearing at a podcast. But in a Trump administration, the destruction of the Department of justice, the Rule of Law & the loss of the Constitution lead me to swear mightily.

@chrislhayes.bsky.social - Finished your book - Sirens Call - last month. Realized one way my wife & I had been working to extend our uninterrupted attention span was to watch movies - at a movie theater. You cannot pause it to look up an actor on IMDB. And you best not use your phone at all.

When a President blatantly violates the Constitution, and Congress does not act to stop it, and the Supreme Court overrules the lower courts and allows the illegal acts to continue, our government is no longer a constitutional federal republic. We are now under an authoritarian dictatorship.

A good read; seems consistent with what we have heard & suspected about the inner workings of FB.

Since DEI is now almost criminal, how about bias training? The goal being to make a person more aware of their unconscious biases, so that – being a good person at heart – they make decisions on housing, employment, etc. without letting their biases both conscious & unconscious control.
