in my opinion, yes! there's an actual app thats a lot easier to navigate, the UI is a lot more user friendly, and its easier to farm engagement, which is good if you're trying to create a platform. bluesky is great too, but i'm personally liking threads a little more for my purposes as a small press

example: anyone can witness the sublime and be moved by inspiration to write a poem. but it is the obsessive poet who has honed their craft, whose creativity expulses out of them w/o end, &who so adequately channels this creativity that ends up creating True Art. Inspo=spark, obsession=kindling

reminds me of Lorca's essay on Duende--art is made not by pure inspirational haunting, but in its exorcismic expression of the individual. you must fight the duende! dont let the angel of inspiration overcome your obsession! for obsession implies self-identity, and art must be personal.
