It's a time loop movie, so I was going to get some enjoyment out of it. It is cool to see the main character become battle-hardened after looping for so long. That said, the aliens are nondescript CGI messes, and they die rather anticlimactically at the end.

Man, I can't believe Toy Story ripped this movie off. Seriously, though, aside from the absurdity of a toy having enough mass to harm a person, this was a dumb fun slasher movie.

It's a shame cuz this battle has all the sauce. His design is aura farming for days, and the fact that this is the closest thing to a fight with Providence without bringing the character back is pretty neat.

False Son would be one of the best boss fights in Risk of Rain 2 if it weren't for some BS attacks in the last phase. It feels like you need those rare items that give you extra lives just to outlast the damage this boss throws out.

I think about how Monolith Soft went from a studio that worked on Xenoblade to the backbone of Nintendo.
It makes all the xenophobic comments when they release a JRPG more funny when odds are this dev team also worked on some dweebs favorite franchise like Zelda or Splatoon.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
I went in knowing absolutely nothing about this anime, and I was pleasantly surprised by the emotional beats the story was willing to go to. It also helps that Frieren is a fun character and a perpetual mood. I hope to see more from this story in the future.

I can see why this film is a classic. It feels surreal looking back at a movie that was the foundation for so many modern sci-fi/time travel stories. Plus, in many regards, it feels timeless with the solid writing and easily digestible rules involving time travel.

Yeah, so my friends were telling the truth when they said that this game was better in co-op. The short & simple levels fit well with the lighter mechanics. That said, my GF and I had fun when the 4 characters were using the power of a polycule to save the day.
