We mainly talked about Alex Proyas's 1994 film adaptation of James O'Barr rock music-influenced, comic book The Crow, starring the late Brandon Lee (son of the great Bruce Lee).

Like any AI project, that AI project is very likely to be a Mechanical Turk grift.
“We saw the various articles on ‘Ambersons’ today. In general, the estate has embraced AI technology to create a voice model intended to be used for VO work with brands. That said, this attempt to generate publicity on the back of Welles’ creative genius is disappointing, especially as we weren’t even given the courtesy of a heads up,” a spokesperson for the Welles estate wrote. “While AI is inevitable, it still cannot replace the creative instincts resident in the human mind, which means this effort to make Ambersons whole will be a purely mechanical exercise without any of the uniquely innovative thinking or a creative force like Welles.”

"Calamity, a Childhood of Martha Jane Cannary" is a very loose retelling of Calamity Jane's childhood. Think France's spiritual successor to the USA's Mulan (1998).

"The Bears' Famous Invasion of Sicily" is an animated adaptation of a famous Italian fable about bears becoming Sicily's ruling class.

Grave of the Fireflies 1988 Japan There are amazing gems among animation films, but the mastery with which Takahada manages to convey the complexity of life, its fragile and brief beauty and the emotions of its drawn characters, is extraordinary. It’s also one of the most haunting, heart-wrenching and profound tales ever told about war. The magical and elegiac moments of natural beauty and childish delight make the tragedy even more harrowing. It makes me weep in a way that no other film does.
