Loved having the opportunity to share a new project on the big screen at the Sightlines/Screenwriting Research Network conference this week in Adelaide. A privilege to be part of a panel with two other excellent films by Adrian Holmes and Jacob Brinkworth.

Making Agoge with our awesome cast and crew was a joy, but there’s nothing more joyous than getting a film project in front of audiences. Wish I could be in Palm Springs for our International Premiere at the end of June but will be celebrating from home.

Serendipitous though it may be, just two days ago I got this ink to celebrate my deep love for Lynch and Twin Peaks.

Excited to see this piece out in the world. It’s part of a duo of chapters I wrote last year on recurring aspects of Lynch’s filmography. In this chapter I explore how Lynch uses repetition and replay in a myriad of forms to destabilise conventional cinematic temporality.

Excited to share that ‘Agoge’ which I coproduced with Marco Alexiadis will have its Australian premiere at Flickerfest International Short Film Festival on January 18th. I’m very proud of this film and the team that brought it to life.

Incredible night at Pearl Jam’s first Sydney show earlier this week. Wish I’d bought tickets for both nights, last night’s set was amazing.

Finished production on an exciting new project that I’m producing for writer/director Kate Vinen yesterday called Flow. Stay tuned for more updates. Really proud of this one.

This book emerged from my PhD research into the relationship between new media forms of horror and affect and embodiment. If you love found footage horror and its new media brethren, you will likely enjoy reading it.
