Looking for actors based in the Greater Manchester area for a student micro-short shoot on Monday 3rd November.

Open Casting Call. Seeking two Greater Manchester-based actors for a student thriller micro-short filming in Didsbury at 10:30AM on Monday the 3rd of November, 2025. Roles are as follows: Joggger - 20s, female (or fem-adjacent). Courser - age unspecified, male (or masc-adjacent). No prior credits necessary, only requirement is for actors to be fine with jogging and slash or running on a Monday morning. Unpaid, as this is a no-budget student production, but director (that's me, Robyn Adams) is happy to provide lunch. Watched O'R DDAER HEN a.k.a. FROM THE OLD EARTH (1981) yesterday.

The greatest of thanks to those towns, cities, and venues which have played host to THE ESTROGEN GOSPEL over the past 12 months. It means the absolute world to me and more.

Keep an ear to the wind. The journey is not over, even if the terrain changes.

Made a trans flag version of the Dorset Ooser from the cover of FOLKLORE, MYTHS AND LEGENDS OF BRITAIN yesterday. Will use it for something eventually.

Also notable that these are two images from the film which are actually featured in the trailer. Really don't want to put down what the filmmakers did otherwise and I don't mean to be cruel but their use of GenAI was very prominent and frequent throughout.

My view from the bus window at 4AM in Manchester on New Year's
