I don’t want “prayer” in the White House.

I want policies that welcome the immigrant.
Liberate the oppressed.
Center the marginalized.
Uplift the poor.

Why? It’s what Jesus was all about. If the “prayer” doesn’t deal with any of that, I don’t want it.

Every time I see someone use the word “kiddo” I squirm. And die a little inside.

Yesterday, my church in Louisville participated in a Walk In with the teachers at our local elementary school in support of the Department of Education.
