This would incentivize not gaining yds on offense. It’s better if a team down by 3 has to take shots at the endzone to try to win, instead of camping out at the 35. Would be funny to see a team, up by 4, commit encroachment to move the offense inside 50 yds. Guess the O could false start right back

Funny, I assumed this was in response to the Rams win, then I read the comments and realize it was posted in-game when it looked like the panthers might win. Seems like an argument that one game shouldn’t mean too much, anyway…

Maybe the feds will be less quick to send in the goons if they get investigated and prosecuted, when evidence warrants, for the commission of crimes under state jurisdiction

That said, I have zero expertise and first was thinking of this from a fantasy perspective where the right 49ers RB was incredibly valuable, but they seemed to vaporize every other week.

Some of Shanahan’s offense is designed to have RBs already at speed when they hit the line to shoot through a gap. Have observed some similarities with blockers (best example is motioning Trent Williams in playoffs a couple years ago). Long wondered if this leads to harder impacts and more injuries…

It’s insane that people cling to fandom through decades of slop. Like, imagine your parents were Jets fans, but in 2003 you were like “it’s more fun to watch the Pats,” and then in 2018 you decided the Chiefs looked frisky. Oh, that sounds gross? Compared to rooting for the Jets another 22+ years?!?

I’m scheduled for 7 hour workdays, but can get paid for up to 8. I’m engaged with my work and have lots of it, but if I were working in the office today I would come and go as scheduled. WFH makes it so much easier for me to put in additional time and get more done and so many just don’t get that!
