My mother buys a lot of ornaments from Hallmark. She started a series for me that for some reason is still going. Mary’s Angels have been going for 38 years this year and also have 3 special editions. Can’t get them on a tree so this is all of them except this year’s. My daughter hates them!😂

When I was a kid I had a little plastic watering can that my grandpa would count M&Ms into as an after supper treat to teach us about counting different ways (in 7s or 8s instead of 2s or 5s). He was a retired banker. Now I’m much older and heavier. I count almonds into a plain cup. 😢

One of our cats apparently thinks she is a parrot. She loves to jump on our back whenever she wants (often when we are not paying attention) and settle in. I was making a cuppa this morning and got these photos, pardon my face in the photos! Happy Friday!

My ex-brother-in-law, and his wife are die hard MAGAts. She posted this last night. Was so tempted to tell her that this is going to be the future she voted for if she doesn’t wake up but I’m trying to keep the peace so i can continue relationship with my niece, nephew and grand-nephew. It’s tiring

I can’t decide if he’s just so furry that he gets overly warm or he’s just really relaxed… but this is a common position for my boy Bastian. On his back, absolutely spread out.

Saw this sign in Costco yesterday (because I shop where they support DEI initiatives). Then shortly afterwards I left my husband in the car for a few minutes. Apparently he thought it meant him. Friends, it did not. 😷

I worked in my office yesterday for the first time in a long while. For accountability we have to note our presence (if there’s a fire or emergency they have to know we were there). So my office mate wrote my name on the board. I saw this when I left. ❤️❤️❤️

Saturday was a horrible day. This beautiful sweet boy had to be taken to the rainbow bridge. We had almost exactly 10 wonderful years with him and it was not enough. The house is emptier without him. Our other dog and cats fill a void but not the Skugga-shaped hole. 😢

This is how you keep your cats fresh: in the refrigerator crisper drawer! (In case PETA is reading, I did not put him in there, he jumps in the fridge often, and misjudged an open drawer for a shelf. I will admit closing said drawer for photo opportunity and lesson-teaching.)

A new cat tower was purchased and assembled. Safe to say it has the seal of approval.
