Happy wrapped day!

Haven’t listened to this one in years but it hits just as hard as it did when I heard it for the first time 5 years ago

This song is astounding in isolation but when you realise it was made in 1970 you start asking yourself if Nico should be named alongside someone like Tony Iommi in terms of how far ahead of her time she was

This song has the greatest lyrics of any metal song I have ever listened to (and you can actually understand most of what he’s saying without having to look them up too!)

This album only revealed its beauty to me earlier this year but my goodness I love the pensive atmosphere that this throws up

Funny how the music puts times in perspective

From the opening guitar riff on this song, it’s immediately clear that this is no ordinary metal album

Recommend this to almost anyone, absolutely beautiful psychedelic guitar riffs along with a mesmerising vocal delivery which grows in intensity throughout the song
