NL Housing has become the worst landlord on my street. They don’t fix up their units, and don’t secure empty units. We’ve lost at least 10 units on my street already in the last year or so to fires set by squatters. How do people think this is responsible management of our resources?

During a housing crisis and tent city protest we saw John Abbott and Fred Hutton negotiate an expensive 1050 day lease of a hotel with no RFP. Let’s be clear, this was never a response to people living in encampments. It was a political response to outcry from citizens.

What a win for Canada! It was packed with hockey fans at the Duke of Duckworth in St. John’s, NL. It was also very comforting hearing people’s very loud booing of the Conservative Party ads!
