Happy #Caturday! Looking at old cat pics, found this one of my Leo, soundly sleeping in my Grandfather Bob’s old yellow leather chair that I inherited back in the 90’s. The chair was given to him from his dad, Great Grandad Earl. We have pics of them also sleeping soundly in that chair. Spellbound!

Just ol’ okra, keeping it real ☮️.
Okra plant, after harvesting the okra pods, leaving behind a beautiful crème yellow bloom, quite large, with dark red and black center recessed deeply, long slender green leaves grow on layered branches below the bloom at top. Bloom captured in stage light portrait style with dramatic vignette.

For #Spooktober #nightmre and #hARToween25 #shadowspirit resharing my acrylic painting 12”x18” of a hatted shape moving closer to me one night while I slept with another family member- we both saw it. I cannot forget it. I was 13, not scared, but did not understand what it was until years later.
My painting of me sleeping in a darkened room in a bed, but being able to see shadows, feeling something keep moving closer to me to then bend over so close to my face that I felt a presence but not a person. What I felt was seen by a family member awakened from her sleep next to me.. I remember seeing a dark hatted shape standing next to me, until I fell asleep. This later confirmed at breakfast the next day with my sleep mate, who had stayed awake to watch it, paralyzed, for another two hours, until it left.

I painted this 24” x 36” acrylic on canvas board, from a summer visit to the coast near Monterey. My favorite is the outbreak of beautiful yellow summer flowers running along the rocks. Have a ☮️ day=)
Painting shows rocky Pacific coastline, in bright summer sunlight, lined with groups of small yellow flowers. The coastal waters are a lighter blue, with foamy wash of water breaking along the rocks as they move out into the deeper grey blue rolling waters, small boat in the far horizon. Sky is light blue with lines of light grey and white clouds out in the distance.

We have a female Crumpet-rescued from our apartment complex. She had some injuries from outside-Tiger deflects pats hugs loves and rubs. We have her inside now for 3 years. Just now lets us touch her, as long as treats follow. Her hiss is exceptional-thrown at us and other cat Peanut- getting better
