yeah, the dizziness isn't fun. I haven't had a major attack for a while so I'm lucky. 64 now and it seems to be creeping back up as I get older. No implant needed for me. They wanted me to get a hearing aide but I said no. Wasn't ready for that. Best to your Grandpa.

I have meniers disease too. In my case it runs in the family. My mother has it. My uncle, her brother, has it. So bad for him that he needed an implant so he could hear. Fortunately for me it's only in my left ear but as I get older now it seems to be aggravated by other external simuli.

I knew about Parr walking off The Tonight show from seeing a documentary about it but I had forgotten about his line when he returned. Nice that Jimmy included it in his monologue.
