These figures are staggering. #JoeByron has pardoned over 4x the folks as the president that pardoned the second most people, #BarackObama. Even that figure is over double the next closest on this chart. I have a new respect for George H.W. Bush for his low number of #Pardons

History doesn't always repeat itself, but sometimes it rhymes. It's also true that the same sorts of issues can persist for 200 years. Maybe we're not paying the farmers enough for them to be able to hire labor at a market wage.
