Now with a face!

20 year old from London who has an unhealthy addiction to trains.
Currently studying in Brum and hoping to get a Computer Science degree.

On HRT since 16/09/2025

she/they, bri'ish
But of course, 10 weeks is only just the beginning.
I'm very much looking forward to all the next set of changes that HRT will bring.

Also I'm somehow now in a relationship with @chilterntravels.uk, and the two aforementioned. Wow!

Well, I better get back to bed.

Three other stations closed on the same day, these being Kami-Shirataki, Shimo-Shirataki and Kanehana. Considering that all these stations were practically in the middle of nowhere, it isn't hard to see why they closed.

Nope.
The line itself (the Sekihoku Main Line) is still very much open, just the station that Kana Harada used (Kyu-Shirataki) was closed in March 2016, which just so happened to be the end of the school year in Japan.

Indeed, meal deals are now slowly reaching M&S levels of prices.
If you want cheap meal deals, look at Co-op (actual Co-op, not central, southern, etc) and their membership. Their meal deals are still £3.50 and have been for a good while.
