I love fishing, photography, food, and walking.
I'm new to social media and no expert on political issues but I have a long history of trying to be a good person. 68 yo.
Native New Orleanian. Louisiana boy and American through and through.
Reminds of this photo of Monty. I saw this stick on his neck at the beginning of our walk. Notoriously lazy and clearly not bothered by it, he left it there for 45 minutes.

Reminds me of my own, recently lost, excellent dog.

Clip the valve stems on their tires! It can be done quickly and without being noticed.

Just pulled this out of the oven. Orange chicken in a clay pot. Girlfriend got herself up and dressed just to come get some.

Birds in motion are really tough to shoot. I don't have the lenses for it. I have to hope that I can get close enough to get a still shot. I think this is a juvenile green heron.

People should start cutting the valve stems on their tires, real sneaky-like.

The behavior and the look in her eyes reminds me of my good, happy dog who I lost a couple of months ago.

One of the benefits of living in New Orleans is the fact that everybody knows someone who goes trawling for shrimp. In this case, it was the friend of a friend.
These shrimp were swimming in Lake Pontchartrain last night. 20-25/lb, $3/lb I live alone. 10 lbs of shrimp will last me until Christmas.

I live near the Mississippi River and there is a great walking/biking trail that runs parallel to the river. Lots of animal life.
Here is a diamondback water snake from yesterday.

People should be using these to clip the valve stems on their tires. They won't be able to just quickly run away.

These are called linesman pliers. It's a common tool. It's all that is needed to help foil masked agents who claim to represent the law when they are trying to kidnap your loved ones.
When those agents are fighting to kidnap your family or friends, someone else can sneak around and cut the valve

to care for, ever. I understand why other people think their dog is the greatest, but Monty was the chillest and easiest, hands down.

Me and the sibs on Mardi Gras day, early sixties. I'm the clown looking at the camera. Mom made all the costumes.

I'm trying to enjoy the day but my dog is dying and it's breaking my heart. Your photos did help to some degree.

He's on his way out and it's breaking my heart. He's been an exceptionally well-behaved dog his whole life (almost 15 yrs). He has been a friend to all people and a lot of people love him.

I followed you because you like birds and photography.
These are some ibises near the Mississippi River today. I walk my dog back there pretty much every day.
