Watching Ryan Coogler’s Hurricane Katrina: Race Against Time. I knew about the levees breaking and the flooding, but I didn’t remember—or realize—how insane and blatantly racist the aftermath was. Survivors were painted as criminals, met with threats of force instead of help. #hurricanekatrina
