It is absurd and obscene to suggest the only way our military can project strength is to appoint as its leader a guy whose own mother called an abusive POS.

And you can't explain it away as "boys be wild."

Here's your daily reminder that bookstores keep the love of reading alive — but they also keep neighborhoods beautiful. They are places to gather, to celebrate stories, to find community.

Please do your holiday shopping at your local independent bookstore, if you are lucky enough to still have one.

🚨BREAKING: In an important flip that further narrows the razor-thin Republican majority in the House, Democrat Adam Gray has defeated incumbent GOP Rep. John Duarte in California's 13th Congressional District. This was one of the most closely watched races in the country.

I am watching with grave concern over the actions of the South Korean president to declare martial law, all because the opposition has blocked his agenda and impeached his cabinet.

Democracy is under assault across much of the world. We must be on highest guard here as well as Trump takes office.

Joe's pardon of Hunter makes me think POTUS is aware of the coming danger. Hopefully, this is the beginning of the pardons and not the end.

Yes, yes, and yes! Thank you Ryan Cooper for an excellent fair and balanced take on what happened. Hunter should have been pardoned in a more direct manner, Merrick is a useless milquetoast, and Joe needs to pardon a ton more peeps before it’s all said and done!

Joe Biden Finally Breaks a Norm to Keep His Son Out of Prison
Hunter Biden deserved a pardon. But America deserved a lot more than that.

The real-time reporting of South Korea today was far easier to follow along on Bluesky than X. It’s these moments that define these platforms. Bluesky really does have the juice.

In case you needed validation for WHY you stopped watching MSNBC during the day (or completely), they have a conga line of pundit idiots saying President Biden looks corrupt for pardoning his son -- instead of leaving him vulnerable to convicted felon trump's retribution thugs.

DO. NOT. WATCH.
