Upstate New York - I want to say something profound, but there are no words. It was a beautiful day, in a beautiful place. Perhaps that should be enough since it is so scarce.

There is something about knowing that I will post the pictures here eventually that makes me work harder at capturing ones that really resonate with me.

I suppose that I want them to be as authentic as possible.

Whatever sliver of me you see, I want it to feel genuine.

I started drawing again recently. I decided that instead of pulling images out of my head, I'd look outwards, and focus on the geometry, patterns, colors & textures that catch my attention.

I will later use them as reference points for my abstract drawing. Let's see what happens!
