Here in the US, there are strictly enforced laws about a vehicle's odometer. Mileage is only half of the story. Cars need to include a Hobbs meter to record the running hours to get the other half of the picture. Way too easy to do but manufacturers won't do it unless they're mandated.

Over the weekend I picked up the car that will be the next Fett's Vette. After having to let go of the last one 5 years ago, it's truly wonderful to be back into one again.
