They have to rely on each other, and they see parts of the other they never knew existed. They bond. WWX risks his life to save LWJ, who gets mad about it. They finally get rescued, but WWX is in a coma. When he finally wakes up, LWJ is there. He’s been waiting.

LWJ initially has doubts bc WWX doesn’t seem serious enough to undertake such a dangerous project, but he realizes that WWX is the *best* diver for the project. They get stranded in the wild following a flood. Separated from their expedition party.
