I'm always hopeful that I will find a struggling young painter that still paints like that. In reality I'll have have to make do with prints, and visiting these two occasionally

John William Waterhouse. It is stunning in real life. It is huge. There is a bench in front of it, which was handy, because it took my breath away! It's at the Tate Britain. If you ever find yourself in London there is a room full of this era. Millais Ophelia is on the opposite wall!

I'm a huge fan of the pre-raphaelites that inspired this. But alas it means I have to make do with prints. My personal favourite is the Lady of Shallot by Waterhouse. I go and visit it if I'm in London!
