Nice to get to Salford Beer Festival for the first time, yesterday afternoon. And have a goodbye pint or three with our departing compadre in the Gas Lamp and City Arms. Cheers!

A very quiet weekend really with just a few beers, some reading and writing, some guitar, and a little too much telly. I’m sure next week will be a little busier… 🍻✍️📖👍

Updated the Liverpool Real Ale maps a little. Welcome addition of the Queen of Hope Street. Lime Street Central has moved from Green to Red as it now has cask. Plus a couple of small deletions I should have done earlier.

After a dark beer today while you’re out in Liverpool? Then you’ve got a couple of choices on at Doctor Duncan’s right now: ‘On the Bounty’ and ‘Abyss’ from Neptune Brewery. One of each I reckon. 🍻👍

I’ll be doing a blog on my York trip shortly (ish). But to summarise I did make it to twenty pubs over the two days without really trying. And twas ace. 🍻👍😁

Been in York for an hour and been to two excellent pubs: the Maltings and the House of the Trembling Madness (Lendal) with ales from Track Brewery and Siren. Cheers! 🍻👍
