The important part, besides the fact that I have the coolest job in the world, is that more and more people are understanding that meaningful or creative or productive ways of filling and using a person’s time is absolutely vital to theiroverall health and well-being. And now on to my next patient!

OT is all about creative/productive/meaningful activities (“occupation” is old fashioned, but most of us don’t do anything related to employment). We use meaningful activity both to guide our treatment and AS the treatment interventions, bc we KNOW this is how people find motivation and meaning
