sorta? it has a tendency to just annihilate all inputs the computer recognizes on boot, glitches during headset initializing and doesn't re-enable, and can lock the system up completely in the process.
iiiit's weird. i got it to behave tonight but only after like 20 minutes of fighting it.

I like the idea of a guy you can return to throughout the run time of a larger solo adventure, seeing how things progress in the world through one selected living person rather than solely the environment.
Moreover Samus helping people directly is good and builds her character more.

Metroid Prime 4 has a featured dweeb character I think is neat.

If you think the guy is going to be around for the entire game I don't think you understand videogame pacing (especially Metroid pacing).
