Hi!

You might know (of) me from such excellent websites as demozoo.org or pouet.net. That means you're also pretty awesome since you're involved with the demoscene.

I collect retro computers / consoles, try to make them do what I want them to

And I completely misread that comment... Sorry, deleted :)

To be fair, "ZuluIDE" is a thing. But closed source hardware (firmware is open though)

No matter how cool this is... You really are showing your class and style with this single line.

"Fully open source firmware and hardware"

I will be building these for myself and friends, but I think you deserve a bit of "favorite beverage" money for all the work you put into these projects.

I am not envious of that machine. Not at all! No, I'm not. Really!

... Yes I am.

My 1084 doesn't have a working right audio socket.

Most likely, I had proper audio ever since I recapped the board.

Board looks a lot better after recap too!

Scoped the entire sound-circuit... Didn't find anything weird or wrong.. still no sound at all from the right output.

Removed components, measured, tested, still nothing apparently wrong.

... After _several hours_ ... I checked the monitor.

Okay... everything recapped, and I have audio. But only on the left socket.

Very very weak audio from the right socket.

If I unplug the right socket, I get "somewhat" all channels, but it's still weird...

Oscilloscope tomorrow.. I think..

Aaand this is what happens when you use the wrong components... It burns
